La República Argentina invita a instituciones y/o personas extranjeras residentes en el exterior que trabajen en la promoción y defensa de los Derechos Humanos y en sus respectivos países, a presentar sus candidaturas a la Edición 2020 del Premio Internacional en Derechos Humanos Emilio F. Mignone.
Las postulaciones se recibirán hasta el día 31 de octubre de 2020.

En todos los casos, se confirmará por correo electrónico la recepción de la propuesta, a modo de oficialización de la postulación.
Las postulaciones recibidas serán examinadas por el Comité de Selección integrado por la Secretaría de Derechos Humanos de la Nación, el Centro de Estudios Legales y Sociales (CELS), la Familia Mignone y la Dirección de Derechos Humanos del Ministerio de Relaciones Exteriores, Comercio Internacional y Culto.
El Comité de Selección escogerá tres instituciones o personas candidatas y elevará la terna al Ministro de Relaciones Exteriores quien escogerá al/la ganador/a.
Teniendo en cuenta la situación provocada por la pandemia del Covid19, este año la ceremonia de entrega se realizará de forma virtual el día 10 de diciembre de 2020.

The Argentine Republic invites foreign institutions and/or individuals residing abroad that are engaged in the promotion and protection of Human Rights in their respective countries to submit nominations for the 2020 Edition of the Emilio F. Mignone International Human Rights Award.
Nominations will be admitted until 31 October 2020.
In order to be registered as a candidate, a form must be completed which is available in the following link:

In all cases, an e-mail confirming receipt of the form will be sent in order to make the nomination official.
All nominations received will be evaluated by a Selection Committee made up of the Argentine Secretariat for Human Rights; the Centre for Legal and Social Studies (CELS); the Mignone family and the Directorate for Human Rights of the Argentine Ministry of Foreign Affairs, International Trade and Worship.
The Selection Committee will choose three candidates and submit the list to the Minister of Foreign Affairs for a final decision.
As a result of the situation caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, this year’s ceremony will be held online on 10 December 2020.
